I was walking down a trail and noticed this enormous leaf with the sun lighting it from behind. This is one of the best designs I have ever seen on the bottom side of a leaf!

This looked pretty neat in color... but I feel like the B&W really makes the pricklies stand out!! I just want to say, "OUCH" when I see this!

An attempt at capturing bee activity! I was so close, I could hear the buzzing! These look like bees on steroids! Haha... There are so many critters that like these flowers... I LOVE the little "Hairs" and the way the light hits the flowers... October 2013

The new branches from the center of a sago. Each of these alien branches has tightly woven curls.

These were flowers from Kristen's birthday party. She had a ladybug theme so we had flowers everywhere.
