I discovered a visitor on one of my Hibiscus this evening! October 2013

This grasshopper has been an excellent model for me today --- I couldn't kill him….He's gone now, not sure where he went --- must've got tired of me taking pictures of him!

I saw this creeper in my flowers this morning…he's about 3 1/2 inches long! I've never noticed their little "claw-like hands" before. My husband usually throws them in the pond for the fish to eat…but I'm NOT touching it! He looks like an alien.

I like the way his front legs are positioned, like an actual pose…my model grasshopper… There's just something about pictures being in Black and White that I love! Less distraction from color, more focus on the details and composition…I could go on and on...
