I was sitting on my back porch just looking around. In the corner of my eye, I saw something twitching. This little critter was near the top of the butterfly bush -which is pretty tall. So I got up to look at him, and he pretty much was acting like if he didn't move -then I couldn't see him.

This lizard was doing some serious freaking out because I was standing on the other side of the glass pointing my camera at him. It was hilarious!

Haha… Did you ever play that game as a kid where the floor was the lava? My thought when I saw this picture was that the lizard was thinking he couldn't go on the ground because of the lava. But - spoiler alert, it's just some flowers behind the chair.

Always fun to enjoy the show they put on. I probably get way more entertainment out of my garden that I should… always fun to watch them act tough!

I was focused on butterflies but Mr. Lizard here made himself photo-worthy... I figured he earned his 2 minutes of fame. (The lines in the background are from the mesh enclosure to keep butterflies inside.)

I love when they act all tough and territorial.
