The pond somewhere around the "back" at Ravine Gardens State Park, some of the hiking trails go around this pond. The little water wheel has been added since the last time I was there.. I like it.

One of the suspended bridges on the trails at Ravine Gardens State Park… and we all know I'm a sucker for a shot like this!

Steps and Curves: a great combo. These are the steps on the right side, there is a walkway just like it on the left. I didn't get a full picture because, as always, I'm always at places at the wrong time of day and would have been facing the sun to take the picture.

This is just a quiet & beautiful place. I love walking on the trails! If you go on the trails - - make sure you bring water!

Kristen was having so much fun on the hiking trails… She kept running ahead to scout it out, then run back to say what direction to go in… I just wanted an ounce of that energy! If you go, I can not say this enough: Make sure you have water!!!

Kristen on the hiking trails…. This is her saying' "We have to come back here again!!!" I thought she was going to complain about being hot & tired, and that she was going to keep asking to go home…. but it was the extreme opposite! She had a blast and it was her favorite part of the whole weekend! She was running all over the place with excitement. I'm happy my kid loves an adventure!

My daughter ran ahead and came back very excited -- "There's an alligator! There's an alligator!" She was excited & happy… I was freaking out! I thought it was on the path but it was next to the water. It looked kinda tiny to me---I was wondering where the big momma was!!! Nature out in the wild - -no fence or barrier anywhere. Gotta love it!

There are a few of these suspended walkways through the park.

At the entrance to Ravine Gardens State Park is The Court of States and a 64-foot obelisk dedicated to Franklin D. Roosevelt.
